Discussion: S1 talks about some places in Malaysia, and S2 has no problem with most of the names. But he was about to refer to a place name starting with Sungai ('river'), and S2 was unable to hear this. She heard somewhere instead.
S1 uses quite a few Malay words, for clothing and titles, during this conversation, in the expectation that S2 will understand him. But there are a few cases where she does not hear the Malay words correctly. (See, for example, Ind1 : 1955 and Ind1 : 2029.)
