Volume 22, Issue 1 of SEAMJ considers the themes of COVID-19's impact on education and national integrity in Southeast Asian countries.

The articles include discussions of such topics as the impacts on environment and human health without the proper management of e-waste; the national unity in Brunei Darussalam during the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the younger generations; the importance of the readiness of teachers for the start of the school year and their responses to difficulties they experience during the pandemic; and much more. Also included is a review of a book that discusses the effects of the pandemic on local and global politics.
