Discussion : S1 was unable to decipher floating, so she wrote a question mark in her transcription. Hearing under insted of on the did not help – if she had heard on the, it seems likely she would also have understood floating.
The main problem with floating is the absence of [l] in the initial consonant cluster; and one problem with on the is that the voiced TH is pronounced as [d].
