    Brunei Malay Test-to-Speech System

    Brief Outline

    The project is a collaboration between junior staff of the Program Bahasa Melayu dan Linguistik, FASS, and the School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. The main idea of this project is to set up a database for Dialek Melayu Brunei (DMB). We will contribute through our linguistic expertise which is analyzing the sounds, grammar and lexemes of DMB. The project includes the recording of 2000 utterances in DMB, analyzing the sound patterns and grammar. The recording and the computerization will be done at the laboratory of the School of Computer Engineering. After this project is completed, the software can be used for teaching and research purposes.
