Upcoming Conference: The 6th World Conference of Women's Studies (WCWS 2020)

Update on WCWS 2020:

The 6th World Conference on Women’s Studies (WCWS 2020) which was originally scheduled to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on the 29-31 May 2020 will now be offered as an online virtual conference on the 27th-28th July, 2020

This conference is an annual multi-disciplinary conference on all aspects related to women’s and gender studies. The conference is co-hosted by Tokyo Gakugei University, Japan; Bridgewater State University, USA; and the Center for Multidisciplinary Research, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepure, Sri Lanka.

This year, FASS is proud to announce that it is one of their Academic Partners. Selected papers from the conference will be published in The Journal of International Women’s Studies, a Scopus-indexed publication.

The registration fees for participants are as follows:
  • Academic staff: USD 200
  • Student: USD 150

FASS is proud to announce that it is one of the Academic Partners for the 6th World Conference of Women's Studies (WCWS 2020) which will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 29-31 May 2020. This is an annual multidisciplinary conference bringing scholars doing research in women and gender studies from all over the world.

The deadline for abstract submission is 21 January 2020. However, extensions for deadlines can be granted for participants from FASS and UBD, who are also eligible for a 25% discount on the registration fee for the conference.
