Final year students of the Design & Creative Industries (DCI) programme recently launched the first issue of their digital zine, The Creative Issue, produced in the context of their final year project. The publication showcases exclusive content from DCI artists and other local creatives, and is part of UBD Spectrum 2021, DCI's graduation exhibition.

The DCI programme was launched in 2017 and intersects multiple disciplines—Art, Design and Media; Innovation and Technology; and Business and Management. In 2021, this first batch of DCI final year students is set to host the first annual DCI graduation exhibition, entitled Spectrum 2021: Anew.

Spectrum is the spiritual successor to Spectacle, a yearly exhibition which was held by students of the Art & Creative Technology (ACT) programme.
